Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (DST) is a private, non-profit organization founded on January 13, 1913, by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University. DST’s purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Today, this sisterhood of more than 200,000 predominately Black college-educated women has 1000 chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Okinawa and Tokyo), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Republic of Korea.

The theme for this biennium is “Uncompromising Commitment to Communities: Service, Leadership, and Empowerment.” We are advancing the mission and vision of our Founders by contributing countless hours of public service implemented through our Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
